He listens…
SportTman was outside playing wiffle ball with a friend today. It was only 98 degrees out, so he did as most boys do, he took his shirt off to play. After awhile I went out and in my stern mom voice, reminded him to put sunscreen on. He responded with such beautiful, magic, wonderful words, he said, “I already did!”
He listens!!!!!! Wow I have actual evidence of a 13 year old boy that listens to his mom.

I am a wife of 20 years to dear hubby(aka Drums, since he is an awesome worship drummer and a public high school teacher), a mom to a son 14(aka SportTman, since sports are his mainstay these days, he plays basketball and tournament baseball), and a daughter 12(aka The Inventor, she can invent something creative and useful out of anything! She is also a runner and plays soccer ).
