Jesus and Dark Chocolate

But seek first His kingdom………..

Summer has begun…..

Signs that summer vacation is well under way at our house…….

The Inventor and I picked strawberries and made yummy jam.

I woke up at 9:06 am the other day!!!!!!!

I still had jammies on at 10:45am!!!

I read a book, and have already made 3 trips to the library

My laundry pile if finally shrinking.

I have heard the saying, “I’m bored” used more frequently

We started a fun new hobby, Letterboxing.

We have all eaten lots of watermelon

I made pancakes and bacon the other morning outside on our new grill with a cool side griddle! I made all the neighbors jealous with the smell of bacon lingering through the neighborhood!

I can blog more!

Our yard does not look like an overgrown field anymore.

My house is always a mess.

I am so thankful for summer, and a break from school!

  1. Letterboxing sounds fun!! We also make our bacon on the side burner of our grill. Save all the mess on the stove! Have a fantastic day!

Oh, Consecrated will start college in July and I was hoping that in order to save gas, that he could drop me somewhere to meet you for breakfast or lunch. I can’t say exactly right now as we won’t get his final schedule until July 11th. I’ll let you know after that, that is if you’re still wanting to meet me. :) Bless you, Dear!

  2. Sigh. That sounds so wonderful! Unfortunately, I work through the summer so the sleeping in and jammies till noon is not an option for me.

  5. Yes, it is truly summer when we feast on berries and watermelon, read lots of books, make jam, have pancakes, and also enjoy a bit of warm rain and lightning nearby.
